At Nagomi no Yado KAKUJORO we have 11 well-appointed rooms uniquely designed in the style of traditional Japanese inn. Honkan KAKUJORO is a Japanese wooden building built in 1925. Each room in the Shinkan Unjoro and Shinkan Suijoro, which were completed in 2005, express a more modern Japan and are each fitted with a rotemburo, open-air bath.

Our rooms are designed to accommodate a range of individual requirements giving you an opportunity to choose a room that suits your taste and needs. We have ensured that our guests have sufficient time to enjoy our unique atmosphere by having the check-in time at 15:00 and check-out at 11:00. The listed room rates are for one night with breakfast.
Enjoy the tranquility of your own private bath
Our bath facilities are highly praised by our patrons featuring two large size hot springs with separate facilities for male and female guests. They are situated on our highest ground on our property affording a gorgeous view of the local surroundings.

Each room has a rotemburo, which with, no doubt, guests will find provides them with the utmost comfort and peaceful relaxation. Two private bathtubs are available upon a request and foot bath is also available.
A mix of traditional and modern
A cozy and yet sophisticated bar located on the first floor perfectly convenient for a cup of coffee or quick drink. In addition, we have a happy hour from 16:00 through 18:00 each day where complimentary homemade beef jerky, beer, and soft drinks are served.

During the period of late May through to the middle of June, fireflies glow in the courtyard and entertain the visitors, creating a mystic world of traditional Japanese architecture enhanced by the glowing light of dancing fireflies.
